Welcome to 取向 at Manhattan School of Music, August 28 – September 8, 2023!
取向 is a great way to settle into MSM, get to know New York City, 和 make new friends!
The week will consist of various social activities, such as a sunset cruise around the tip of Manhattan, a smoothie social in the president’s residence, 和 visits to iconic sites in New York City. Furthermore, there will be informative meetings to assist students in adjusting to the School. It is important to highlight that we encourage all parents to attend Convocation 和 the Student Success presentation for families on Monday, 8月28日. These events will take place in Neidorff Hall at 2pm 和 3pm, respectively.
另外, students have the opportunity to finish up any outst和ing paperwork, learn about MSM programs 和 resources, 和 participate in departmental auditions.
The orientation calendar of events is shared through a Canvas Course available to incoming students starting in late July.
The MSM 取向 Canvas Course will help you:
- See the full orientation schedule
- Track events you’re interested in
- Learn about required meetings
- Help you find your way around through the school
- Sign up for events you would like to attend
